We have so much to tell you about the beautiful capital of Hungary!
Budapest is extremely beautiful and vibrant city. It is a must visit, while in Europe. It is pretty well connected to the neighbour countries and is easily accessible by car, train, bus and a plane and is a perfect destination for a weekend trip.
Budapest not only beautiful, but also holds a lot of history and on the side is ready to offer you an intense program of your choice, be it sightseeing, partying it all out or enjoying the spa weekend at the famous baths.
While being there, make sure to have an amazing breakfast or brunch at one of the coolest places with the french twist called À La Maison Grand. Wonderful service, friendly atmosphere and good food will get you started. Take a full day exploring the city, both parts Buda and Pest that are separated with the river. The views are just amazing, especially when you escape noisy Pest and overview it from the hills on the other side. Visit all the historical sites and get inspired by the story it holds.
Another tip would be to definitely have some Hungarian food that is very delicious and is home-made like. Try out Costes Restaurant that offers fine dining, but make sure to get a reservation, especially if you are a group of people. If you fancy a drink, do not hesitate to try Hungarian wines, they offer a big selection.
For the night, Budapest has plenty of offers for you, starting with the famous ruin bars and ending with the proper night clubs with modern music. Majority of the places are located in the centre and on the river side of Pest, so it is better to pick central location for your accommodation. It is very interesting and lively, how the city life is flowing, so do not be shy to explore the city and pop into random places to feel the local atmosphere. People are very friendly and definitely know how to have fun!
In case you are not up for going out, but rather relax and absorb the local vibe, take a chance to go to the famous thermal baths for the day. It is very big and is totally worth visiting. It is a wonderful experience, if you would like to treat yourself. The views that open are also breathtaking and gives you a feeling like you went back in time.
